Privacy Policy

Plain-language details on cookies, ads, analytics, and affiliate links. Last updated: June 27, 2026.

Who runs this site

Focus Hum (focushum.com) is a free white, pink, and brown noise generator and part of the Audio Tools Network. You can reach us any time at contact@focushum.com. This policy explains what data is and isn't collected when you use the site, and it may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

The audio stays on your device

Focus Hum generates noise mathematically in your browser using the Web Audio API. Nothing is recorded, uploaded, or streamed from a server. We don't require sign-up, we don't ask for an account, and we don't collect audio, personal profiles, or the mixes and presets you create. Saved presets live in your own browser's local storage and never leave your device.

Cookies and advertising

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, mainly to support advertising and measurement. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Third-party vendors and ad networks may also set their own cookies; their use of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand anonymous, aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us improve the tool. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain Amazon Associates affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change the information or recommendations we give.

We don't sell your data

We do not sell your personal information. Because the tool runs locally and needs no account, there's very little personal data involved in the first place, beyond the advertising and analytics cookies described above.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or California, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to opt out of personalized advertising using the links above. To make a request or ask a question, email contact@focushum.com.
